Everyone keeps talking about the economy these days. It seems the world is busy navigating high inflation, increasing interest rates and post-covid supply chain disruptions. And there’s a hint of recession in the air. Yet job growth remains strong, and unemployment is low. Many industries are being disrupted and companies struggle to solve problems and be innovative in an ever-changing complex world. If they do not stay on top change, they will lose money, competitive edge, and talent. Eventually, the markets will level out and we will welcome sustained tailwinds again. Business, HR, and talent leaders will continue to be challenged to make sense of it all – and the impact on workforce and talent trends.
Hybrid and flexible work models post covid and the entry of the Gen Z into the labour market have brought significant change to the working world and resulted in the Great Resignation. Resignation became a signal of new expectations. Quit rates may rise and fall due to a number of factors, but ultimately, employee expectations today are different — and this is not going to change. Employees are insisting on more flexibility in their work lives, more variety and growth within their companies, more agency to pursue growth opportunities, and more meaningful, purposeful work.
Companies must stay ahead of the curve. Or others will. They need to embrace new approaches to workforce agility and flexibility to respond to the challenges of tomorrow. To succeed in the future of work, one core element to solve complex challenges and innovation is clear: a powerful team. Because with diverse, aligned teams you can make your business more profitable and agile and your employees more engaged, committed and included.

We wanted to learn more and find out how the game can be changed. We are both inspired by a shared vision. We are firm believers that in this ever-changing complex world, challenges are better solved together. We are exploring new ways how companies can make better use of the skills and competencies of their diverse workforce and create powerful teams. To turn challenges into opportunities.
That is why, we are brainstorming on the #futureofwork and #teamdynamics in our spare time since early this year. With an explorer mindset, we spoke and continue to speak to many business leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts in this exciting field of HR and worktech.
